About Us
Leoco Alcheme was created by Dr. Monica Foitzik, a licensed acupuncturist and reiki practitioner who has been working with a variety of patients and clients for over ten years. After several years of leaving her work feeling exhausted, burnt out and dysregulated, she knew something had to change. A good friend of hers introduced her to reiki and began training Dr. Monica on its different practices. The most potent rituals she began incorporating were cleansing, grounding and protection practices. With consistent practice, she began noticing having more balanced energy, more regulated emotions and offered more effective treatments.
Over the years, Dr. Monica encouraged other practitioners and people who worked around energy that left them feeling similar to how she felt to exercise these energy practices. Although she finds quality sage and herb burning practices effective, not all people could perform such practices where they live or work. Dr. Monica began developing her energy sprays using intentional essential oil blends and crystal stones that matched their ritual purpose to help offer an alternative. For a final powerful touch, she performs reiki prayers over the sprays and charges them on her altar to craft a loving, healing infusion. Paired with a person’s developed ritual practice, the sprays can enhance and add a physical, sense-awakening tool to help create consistency and efficacy to their intentions.
